Express Earn Split with Fort Morgan

The WESTCO Express pounded out 19 hits and downed Fort Morgan 19-2 in game one to earn a split with the Colorado squad. Ten different Express players had hits in the game and Eric Moreno went the distance on the mound…scattering five hits over five innings to improve to 3-1 on the season. Joe Sanchez finished 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and Ty Dunkel drove in four with his 3-for-3 performance. Moreno added three hits and three RBI to help his cause. Joe Moran and Ty Wilson both went 2-for-3 in the game two loss. The Express are now 15-8 on the season and host Sidney Tuesday night at 5:00 p.m. at Cleveland Field.
